That is a great question!
Our email migration tool only migrates emails, labels and folders from your source account to your destination account. This means any subscriptions you may have or accounts associated to that address will not be available from the destination account address.
If you would like this type of things to transfer, you should contact Google directly: https://support.google.com/accounts/?hl=en#topic=3382296, and ask them for further information about how to do this! If you do, please keep me updated on your progress so we can learn with you how these transfers work!
Please let me know if we can help with anything else!
You are totally right, once you migrate your emails from your previous Gmail account to your new account your source account will continue working as usually!
As for your second question, yes, all emails that are migrated from the source to your destination account will remain existing in your source account. Think of our tool as a “copy and paste” tool that copies your emails, folders & labels from the source account and pastes them in your destination account but without modifying anything from the source account!
Let me know if we can help with anything else!
We do provide all our customers with the fastest transfers allowed by Google. There are many factors that affect transfer speed. However, larger accounts take longer to migrate because of Google’s limits on the number of simultaneous connections to each account. That is, the size of the source account and the quantity of emails have the largest impact on total transfer time. In ideal conditions, 250 – 500 MB are transferred per hour.
It is somehow strange that the migration is now running so slowly. Maybe the emails it is currently migrating are bigger and therefore it takes more time for the tool to migrate them. Please leave a couple of days and if it is still running very slowly let me know at email@example.com and we will take a closer look at it!

Have you tried starting your import from an incognito window?
That way you ensure that you have logged out from every account you may have open in different web browsers.
Hope this helps!
Can you please let me know which email addresses you are trying to import from?
These are the steps you should follow to import your two accounts:
-Sign into your Gmail account.
-In the top right, click the gear icon, and select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
-Click the “Accounts and Import” or “Accounts” tab.
-In the “Check mail from other accounts” section, click “Add a mail account”.
-Type the email address of your old account, then click “Next Step”.
-Type your old account password.
-Also, type the POP Server and the POP port.
RECOMMENDED: Check the boxes next to the options below:
>“Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail”
>“Label incoming messages”
-Leave the other boxes unchecked.
-Click “Add Account”.
Can you please let me know if you are following these steps? Also, what POP server and POP port are you typing in?
Looking forward to your reply!
Transferring your emails from one email address to another will not delete the emails from the old address! Think of it as a tool that “copies and pastes” the emails, labels and folders from your source account to the destination account, without modifying anything from the source account!
Hope this was helpful and please let me know if you have any other questions!
I would suggest you attempt the import through an incognito window.
Let me know if this works for you!

I’m very sorry you’re experiencing this problem with the email import!
Can you please let me know more about how you started this import process? Was it using the ShuttleCloud Migration App installed from the GSuite Marketplace or the ShuttleCloud Migration Tool from the webpage?
Also, can you please let me know your GSuite domain? If you prefer, you can send the answers to my personal email email@example.com
Great! I’m happy that worked for you!
Please let me know if we can help you with anything else!
By following the instructions detailed below, you will be able to transfer all your emails from your Yahoo inbox, folders and Sent mail without having to move anything to the Inbox!
1) Go to your Gmail inbox. Select the gear-icon button in the upper-right corner and click Settings.
2) Select Accounts and Import at the top of the page.
3) Click Import mail and contacts.
4) You can now enter your Yahoo email address and password and grant the permissions the page will ask for.
5) You will be asked if you want to import contacts, mails and forwarding for the next 30 days. You can indicate what you want to import by selecting the correspondent boxes.
6) Click “Start import” and the process will begin!
I hope this was helpful!
Sorry for the confusion Tom,
You’ve enabled the integrated version within Gmail of the ShuttleCloud migration tool (ShuttleCloud integrated within Gmail). Your users will be able to complete their migrations following the steps in this article: https://help.shuttlecloud.com/how-do-i-import-email-from-another-email-account-into-a-gmail/ or if you prefer a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEeorOjbbNU&t=
If you want to use the ShuttleCloud G Suite Marketplace app you have to install it following these steps: https://support.shuttlecloud.com/article/362-how-to-install-the-shuttlecloud-migration-app or if you prefer a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X02g-bKkR7U
What is the difference between both options?
ShuttleCloud integrated within Gmail:
-User-driven migration within the Gmail interface.
-Migrates from most consumer email systems (e.g., Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, AOL, etc.).
-Includes email forwarding and contacts import capabilities.
ShuttleCloud G Suite Marketplace app
– Has 1 free migration, then each additional migration is $20.00.
– Includes dedicated support and advice from G Suite Experts.
– Can be admin driven or user-driven from a separate interface to Gmail’s.
– Provides support for consumer email providers, business email providers, and custom servers.
In all they are two different solutions; nonetheless, one of them will definitely suit your needs.
I initially believed you were referring to the ShuttleCloud G Suite Marketplace app.
If you follow the steps, I mentioned for ShuttleCloud integrated within Gmail (first paragraph) your users will be up and running in no time.
Sorry again for the confusion. Hope this helps!
